Of Counsel to Cramer, Swetz, McManus, Jordan & Saylor, James A. Swetz has built a distinguished trial career marked by professional leadership and sustained peer recognition.
A graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where he served on the Villanova Law Review, he began his career as a Public Defender in Monroe County before becoming one of the region's most recognized criminal trial lawyers. He was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2007 and continuously from 2009 through 2025, and one of Pennsylvania's Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2012.
Attorney Swetz is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has held an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell for over 15 years — the highest available rating for legal ability and ethical standards.

Saylor, II concentrates his practice on family law — divorce, custody, support, and protection-from-abuse matters — while also handling criminal, traffic, and civil cases. He earned his law degree from Charlotte School of Law and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2015. After several years in private practice, he joined the firm in 2019 and became a shareholder in 2023. He is a past President of the Monroe County Bar Association and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates.

He earned his J.D. from Widener Commonwealth Law School — where he received the Pro-Bono Award and served on the Trial Advocacy Honor Society — after graduating from The University of Scranton. As an Assistant District Attorney he headed the office's Juvenile Court Division and tried numerous cases for the Commonwealth. He now applies that prosecutorial insight to defending clients through every stage of the criminal process, and serves as President of the Monroe County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.

Verina Meawad

Licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Attorney Verina Meawad focuses her practice on criminal defense, DUI, and traffic matters, with extensive courtroom experience in felony and misdemeanor cases and jury trials.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Criminal Law Society, and began her career clerking for a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey. She graduated cum laude from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in Psychology and Criminology. Attorney Meawad also serves with the Monroe County Public Defender's Office and is fluent in Arabic.
